Best way to taste Oyster Mushrooms

Ingredients: 250g White Oyster mushrooms

A knob of butter or preferably ghee

one clove of garlic.

one cayenne pepper.

Vin cotto

Place the mushrooms into a hot wok with nothing to sweat out a little.

Next add a knob of butter or ghee, and one small clove of garlic chopped fine. 

Add your chopped cayenne pepper.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt, to taste.

 

Eat on their own or enjoy them is on some toasted bread.

You can substitute the vin cotto with balsamic vinegar or sweet soy, which gives it a slight Asian twist.







Start by browning the oyster mushroom in a non-stick Pan

Cook well, until all the mushrooms are browned off a little.

Add a drizzle of vin cotto and let it caramelize for a few minutes.
